Overview

Hunza is a mountainous valley in the autonomous Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. It is a perfect destination for the people who want to explore the fusion of historical culture and western modernization. Hunza is situated in the northern part of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, bordering with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the west and the Xinjiang region of China to the north-east. The Hunza valley is situated at an elevation of 2,438 meters

Karimabad town is situated on the western bank of the Hunza River, nestled in the northern areas of Pakistan. It is located within a valley at an elevation of 8,200 feet (2,500 meters) above sea level. The town is characterized by its construction on stone-walled and steep-sloping terraces. Historically, Karimabad served as a caravan stop for travelers journeying through the Hindu Kush mountains en route to the Vale of Kashmir. This town is set against the backdrop of snow-clad mountain peaks like Rakaposhi, which stands at an altitude of approximately 25,000 feet (7,600 meters), and surrounded by glaciers such as the Ulter Nala.

Attabad Lake Gojal is a lake located in the Gojal region of Gilgit−Baltistan, Pakistan. It was formed in January 2010 due to a significant landslide in Attabad. Encompassing an array of engaging activities, the lake has garnered attention for its boating. jet-skiing, fishing and other recreational activities.

Khunjerab Pass is a mountain pass situated at an elevation of 4,693 meters (15,397 feet) above sea level. It is located in the Karakoram and holds a significant strategic position on the northern border of Pakistan, specifically in the Gilgit–Baltistan's Hunza and Nagar Districts. Additionally, it is positioned on the southwestern border of China, within the Xinjiang region.

Itinerary Day 1

Islamabad - Gilgit – Karimabad

Get on a flight from Islamabad to Gilgit. Reach Gilgit Airport. Our Representative will pick you up from Gilgit Airport. Drive towards Hunza.

Highlights of the day are:

Rakaposhi View Point (Rakaposhi Mountain is 7788 m / 25,500 ft.)
The Altit fort (900 years old)
Karimabad Bazar: famous for shopping, dry fruits and gem stones
Eagle’s nest viewpoint: It’s all about the view. At around 10000 feet above sea level, with a panorama of a valley with a range of colors from autumn leaves. The Golden Peak, Lady Finger, Rakaposhi and other mountains covered with snow, all in a sight.
We will stay a night in Karimabad

Itinerary Day 2

Karimabad-Attabad-Passu

After breakfast at hotel, we will depart towards Passu

Highlights of the day are:

Attabad Lake: is a lakelocated in the Gojal region of Gilgit−Baltistan, Pakistan. It was formed in January 2010 due to a significant landslide in Attabad
Hussiani Bridge: The bridge is considered to be the most dangerous bridge of the world by the tourists, resting at a height of 100ft from the river bed, consisting of 472 wooden planks the bridge is about 660 feet in length.
Passu Cons viewpoint: The breathtaking viewpoint of Passu cons.
Borth Lake: Borith lake lies approximately 2 km to the north of Hussaini, a saline body of water occupying a small hollow at an elevation of 2,500 meters (8,200 feet).
After visiting these places we will check-in in our hotel near Gulmit.
We will visit a local family run resort for a cup of coffee

Itinerary Day 3

Khunjerab Pass

After breakfast at hotel, we will depart towards Khunjerab Pass
The drive for Khunjerab Pass will be around 2.5 Hours from our hotel
We will stay for around 40 Minutes at the Khujerab Pass
After visiting the pass we will take a short break at Sost Bazar which is the last town of Pakistan.
We will return to our hotel before evening.

Itinerary Day 4

Hopper Valley-Nagar

After breakfast at hotel, we will depart towards Gilgit
We will visit Hopper valley on our way
Then we will drive towards Nagar Valley
We will visit Minapin village and have Traditional Lunch
Time to explore the local village
Dinner will be served at your hotel
Overnight at Nagar

Nagar – Naltar - Gilgit

After breakfast at hotel, we will depart towards Naltar
We will visit Naltar Valley and Naltar Lakes if Lakes are accessible
Then we will drive towards Gilgit
Time to explore Gilgit city
Dinner will be served at your hotel
Overnight at Nagar
